About Mandala Weddings
Thank you for visiting my blog. Mandala Wedding Photography is myself, Braja, and my brother Justin. We grew up in Encinitas, CA (Southern California). Surfing, skateboarding and art was daily life for us growing up. During my high school days I took photography for three years (yes, it was the days of dark rooms where I developed and printed my own photographs). I entered many contests and won in numerous categories for my photography skills.
After high school I traveled to different countries around the world exploring different cultures. After a few years of traveling and working I remembered how much I loved photography and that is when I decided to start doing fashion photography for local clothing companies and models who were starting off in the business.
So, how did I start shooting weddings? I started to get into wedding photography a couple of years after doing fashion photography. My clients started to ask me to take pictures of their weddings and I loved it! I found my nitch! Capturing the moments of your special day is so much fun and my brother and I truly enjoy what we do.
